My Faith

I do believe.

My Faith

I am a Christadelphian (which means brother or sister in Christ). I do believe that it is by the Grace of God that I may be a member of His family here on this earth..

Colossians 1: 21;

I do believe in the Only One God, Creator of heaven and earth, giver of all life and who controls all things and still has a great purpose for His creation.

Genesis 1; Psalm 33: 62; Isaiah 45: 18 3; Job 34: 14, 154;

I believe in the real Bible as a message from God to the World from the beginning (Genesis) to the end (Apocalyps/Revelation). God speaks to the humble through the pages of this Book. In it are contained all His promises and the conditions on which He offers freedom, righteousness and Eternal Life.

God has preserved His Word down the centuries, despite many attempts by Man to destroy it. So 1 can read it today in my own language and so begin to do what God tells me in it.

2Tlimothy 3:16-175; 2Peter 1: 20-216

I believe that all men and women are sinners from nature. The Biblical “Devil” is a figure to tell us about our shortcomings. The devil is not a supernatural being but is another name for ‘going wrong’ or not able to succeed in the good way”. It is the badness which resides in all of us. The “Satan” is the opposer in us, the opponent or adversary.

Mark 7: 21-237: James 1: 13-158;Re 12:99;

As a consequence of sin we die. When we die in the death every existence in us takes an end, we perish and we return to dust.

Genesis 3: 1910; Psalm 146: 3, 411 ; Ecclesiastes 9:4-612; Romans 5: 1213;

I Believe in Jesus Christ who is the Son of God. God was His Father by the Holy Spirit (the Power of God) upon Mary, a Jewish Virgin, so Jesus was Son of God and Son of Man! He is the promised Messiah who overcame all the temptation, only doing Gods Will, and died to save his followers from sin and death

Matthew 26: 3914; Hebrews 2: 1415; 4: 1516;

Tempted and tried in every way, he remained sinless as the obedient Son of God. Finally he died on the wooden stake, to be a Saviour for all who believe. On the third day God raised him from the dead and gave him immortality.

1 Peter 2:22-2417; Acts 2: 2418;

I believe that salvation involves covering of sin through Christ Jesus, and freedom from sin and death at His coming.

I believe that it is by grace that the victory accomplished by Jesus-Christ over sin and death gives me the privilege now to ask directly to God forgiveness for my faults and shortcomings or deficiencies.

Jesus has given us a New Covenant of Grace and Mercy.

Acts 13:3819; Ephesians 1: 720; 1Corinthians 11:2521; Hebrews 8:622; 12:2423;

Jesus is now in heaven as the Risen Lord, the only mediator between God and me.

I believe that this same Jesus, will return in the same manner as the apostles watched him ascend. On the day that God has established for Him to return Christ then shall take his place in Jerusalem to govern over the whole world.

Acts 1: 1124; 17:3125:Luke 1: 32, 3326;Acts 1: 927; 1Timothy 2: 528; Hebrews 7: 2529; 9: 2430; 10:1231;

I believe the time shall come when Jesus wil return to the earth and both believers and non believer will be raised from the dead for Judgement.

Those who rejected God in their lives wil be condemned to eternal death and shame. Whilst the faithful will be given Eternal life in Gods Kingdom.

And the spirit of the Lord will be ressting on Jesus who shall act with wisdom and good sense as Judge in name of his Father. Righteousness shall lead Him.

There shall no longer be friction between nations. The knowledge of war will be gone for ever.

There will be no cause of pain or destruction, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord , without hate, jealousness or any grudge. All the old things will belong to the past.

Isaiah 2:1-432; 11:1-933; Psalm 72; Revelation 21: 3, 434;2 Peter 3:7 35;

I believe the time shall come when His voice will come to all dead. Jesus shall raise the dead into life; and those who have done evil, to be judged to the eternal death to eternal shame.

Daniel 12: 236: John 5: 28, 2937;

I believe that the Kingdom established by Jesus Christ shall at last fulfil the Plan of God to eliminate the wrong doing which is sin and shall fill the world again with the knowledge and glory of the One and Only God whose Name is Jehovah or Yahweh.

Numbers 14:2138; Psalm 22:2739; Isaiah 11:940; Habakkuk 2:1441; 2 Corinthians 4:642;

I believe that if we want to be partakers of the New World promised by God, we do have to identify ourselves NOW with Jesus by our baptism.

Repentance and baptism into Christ by a full immersion in water and daily following of Christ Jesus are all necessary for ultimate salvation.

Mark 16 :1643 ; Romans 6:1-1344; Colossians 3 : 145; 1 Corinthians 13;

I do believe it is my privilege, my responsibility and my task to share my great hope with others. Everybody has the free will to either refuge /reject God or to listen and accept the Good News of the Kingdom of God, and to find the joy of this hope for Salvation and wonderful Eternal Life.

Mathias 5:1646; 1 Peter 3:1547; Ezekiel 2:5,748; 1 Corinthians 11:2649; Hebrews 10:2550;

1 “To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ, who are at Colossae: Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Col 1:2 KJ21)

2 “By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.” (Ps 33:6 KJ21)

3 “For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens, God Himself that formed the earth and made it—He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: "I am the LORD, and there is none else.” (Isa 45:18 KJ21)

4 “If He set His heart upon man, if He gather unto Himself His Spirit and His breath, all flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.” (Job 34:14-15 KJ21)

5 “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly equipped for all good works.” (2Ti 3:16-17 KJ21)

6 “knowing this first: that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in olden times by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” (2Pe 1:20-21 KJ21)

7 “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: all these evil things come from within and defile the man."” (Mr 7:21-23 KJ21)

8 “Let no man say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man. But every man is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lust and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin; and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” (Jas 1:13-15 KJ21)

9 “And the great dragon was cast out—that serpent of old called the Devil and Satan, who deceiveth the whole world. He was cast out onto the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” (Re 12:9 KJ21) “… the Devil and Satan, (the Adversary) the deceiver of the whole world. ….” (Re 12:9 CJB)

10 “In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return unto the ground, for out of it wast thou taken; for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."” (Ge 3:19 KJ21)

11 “Put not your trust in princes, nor in a son of man in whom there is no help. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.” (Ps 146:3-4 KJ21)

12 “For him that is joined to all the living there is hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. For the living know that they shall die; but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love and their hatred and their envy is now perished; neither have they any more a portion forever in anything that is done under the sun.” (Ec 9:4-6 KJ21)

13 “Therefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, so death passed onto all men, for all have sinned.” (Ro 5:12 KJ21)

14 “And He went a little farther, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou wilt."” (Mt 26:39 KJ21)

15 “Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same, that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death—that is, the devil—” (Heb 2:14 KJ21)

16 “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.” (Heb 4:15 KJ21)

17 “"who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth"; who when He was reviled, reviled not in return; when He suffered, He threatened not, but committed Himself to Him that judgeth righteously; who His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness; by whose stripes ye were healed.” (1Pe 2:22-24 KJ21)

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the stake, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness–by his wounds you were healed.” (1Pe 2:24 CJB)

18 “But God hath raised Him up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.” (Ac 2:24 KJ21)

19 “Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this Man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins;” (Ac 13:38 KJ21)

20 “In Christ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace,” (Eph 1:7 KJ21)

21 “In the same manner also He took the cup when He had supped, saying, "This cup is the New Testament in My blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me."” (1Co 11:25 KJ21)

22 “But now hath He obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the Mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.” (Heb 8:6 KJ21)

23 “and to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.” (Heb 12:24 KJ21)

24 “who also said, "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who is taken up from you into Heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into Heaven."” (Ac 1:11 KJ21)

25 “because He hath appointed a Day in which He will judge the world in righteousness by that Man whom He hath ordained. Of this He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead."” (Ac 17:31 KJ21)

26 “He shall be great and shall be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David, and He shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of His Kingdom there shall be no end."” (Lu 1:32-33 KJ21)

27 “And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.” (Ac 1:9 KJ21)

28 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,” (1Ti 2:5 KJ21)

29 “Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost those who come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them.” (Heb 7:25 KJ21)

30 “For Christ has not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.” (Heb 9:24 KJ21)

31 “But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down at the right hand of God,” (Heb 10:12 KJ21)

32 “The word that Isaiah the son of Amos saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem: And it shall come to pass in the last days that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, "Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” (Isa 2:1-4 KJ21)

33 “And there shall come forth a Rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots. And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD— and shall make Him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD; and He shall not judge after the sight of His eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of His ears. But with righteousness shall He judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth; and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked. And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and faithfulness the girdle of His inmost being. "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” (Isa 11:1-9 KJ21)

34 “And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them; and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away."” (Re 21:3-4 KJ21)

35 “But the heavens and the earth which now are, by the same Word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the Day of Judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” (2Pe 3:7 KJ21)

36 “And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.” (Da 12:2 KJ21)

37 “Marvel not at this; for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice and shall come forth—they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life, and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.” (Joh 5:28-29 KJ21)

38 “but as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.” (Nu 14:21 KJ21)

“but in very deed, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of Jehovah;” (Nu 14:21 ASV)

39 “All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn unto Jehovah; And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.” (Ps 22:27 ASV)

40 “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.” (Isa 11:9 ASV)

41 “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea.” (Hab 2:14 ASV)

42 “Seeing it is God, that said, Light shall shine out of darkness, who shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2Co 4:6 ASV)

43 “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.” (Mk 16:16 ASV)

44 “What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein? Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with [him] in the likeness of his death, we shall be also [in the likeness] of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin; for he that hath died is justified from sin. But if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him; knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death no more hath dominion over him. For the death that he died, he died unto sin once: but the life that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Even so reckon ye also yourselves to be dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey the lusts thereof: neither present your members unto sin [as] instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves unto God, as alive from the dead, and your members [as] instruments of righteousness unto God.” (Ro 6:1-13 ASV)

45 “If then ye were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.” (Col 3:1 ASV)

46 “Even so let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Mt 5:16 ASV)

47 “but sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord: [being] ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear:” (1Pe 3:15 ASV)

48 “And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.” (Eze 2:5 ASV)

“And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious.” (Eze 2:7 ASV)

49 “For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink the cup, ye proclaim the Lord’s death till he come.” (1Co 11:26 ASV)

50 “not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as ye see the Day approaching.” (Heb 10:25 KJ21)

Giving preference to the Word of God instead of the word of people and traditions.
